I was going through my photos today in attempt at organizing them and I stumbled upon many images that I want to start sharing with you all. I'm going to start a segment on my blog called The Archives, where I show you my old works and the stories -big or small- behind them.
These three images were created with the help of my cousin Rakan, a rapper and songwriter. The quotes that are on the images are lyrics from his songs. I wanted to capture the harshness of the Haitian sun and the carefree/savior aura of Rakan. A modern day representation of forgotten royalty if you will. I love how harsh light looks in black and white. Very nostalgic to me.
